Position Description:
The Assistant Operations Manager assists with the coordination of day to day operational management of the portfolio's Building Safety Coordinator team of seven FTEs, who each manage building security for one shift. The Operations Coordinator is an active and interactive, day-to-day operations-oriented position, assisting with coordinating security, as well as parking, janitorial, and landscaping services across the portfolio, and serves a liaison between those service providers and the property management teams. The Operations Coordinator acts as a point of contact for UC Facilities, UC Transportation, UC Police Department, and other internally contracted service vendors. The Operations Coordinator position is designed for an individual with building operations management experience and extensive University experience.
