Job description
Minimum Requirements
1. Must be at least 18 years of age or older2. Must have a high school diploma or GED3. 5 years of verifiable employment history, security experience preferred4. Candidate must provide copy of local background check5. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction6. Neat and professional appearance7. Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively on campusPrimary Functions of Position1. Patrol campus and premises to ensure security of buildings and grounds2. Investigate disturbances3. Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises4. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences5. Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property6. Warn persons of rule infractions or violations7.
