Financial Associate III- Department of Psychology Regular Full-time, Department of Psychology, Market Range 06, Salary DOE&QJob Summary/Essential Job Functions: The Financial Associate will work closely with the Business Manager in all financial and compliance matters in the Department. This individual is responsible for ensuring that fiscal and HR policies and procedures are followed in all Psychology functions. The Financial Assoc. will be responsible for departmental procurement, HR and payroll related transactions, travel requests/reimbursements, equipment inventory, and space study. The Financial Assoc. will also review and reconcile monthly all Sponsored Project WBSE account ledgers linked to the Department. The Financial Assoc. will work with the Business Manager on the development of the annual Departmental Grad Student salary budget.
Qualifications
Minimum qualification: An Associate’s degree and 4 years of financial or accounting experience in an academic or business setting.The Candidate must be, first and foremost, detail oriented. The ability to set priorities, to work with others and/or give direction are desired. Experience managing travel requests and expenses and knowledge of IRIS/SAP and Microsoft Office preferred.
