Job Summary:

The Patient Services Coordinator position will require flexibility, versatility, and overall productivity of the department by assisting with pre-authorizations, schedule diagnostic testing, orders, filing, and other clerical duties as assigned by the management team.

This position will provide necessary staff support for the delivery of patient care services in the department to achieve patient satisfaction and physician support.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:

Knowledge of MS Windows, Word, customer service skills, insurance authorization/precertification knowledge. Will use Allscripts Electronic Health Record (AEHR) and Project Management (APM) as well as Sunrise Clinical Management (SCM) systems.

Preferred Education/Experience:

Experience in Ambulatory Clinics preferred.
