Job Details
Candidates must be able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Conference, and the NCAA.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, plus some nights and weekends.
Evening and weekend hours and travel required.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required. Ability to travel regionally and nationally is required. Valid driver’s license is required. Two to three years of recruitment experience within higher education is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills and the ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Must be able to work effectively and cooperatively with other areas within the University, particularly with members of the Dean’s Office, Department Chairs and Program Directors. Excellent organizational, administrative and customer service skills required. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a fluid, fast-paced environment. Must have excellent computer skills and be highly proficient in the latest word processing, presentation and data analysis software (e.g., Microsoft Suite).
Master’s degree preferred.
