Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating onsite and virtual delivery of complex meetings and conferences for association groups and client training programs. Administratively supports contract execution, student records management, initiates needed invoicing and pay actions, and training program records keeping. Supports program faculty with marketing efforts. Some travel, evenings, and weekends may be involved.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Work with planning committees of client organization regarding conference or workshop. Manage conference or workshop details and contracts with hotels and meeting facilities. Work with the program managers to facilitate speaker acquisition and other needs as they arise.

Utilize a centralized database to manage and record details of each conference or workshop and its participants. Also, manage activities associated with closing out conferences or workshops.

Develop budgets for training sessions, conferences and workshops to determine the registration fee and other budgeting needs.
