Job Details
DEAN OF BUSINESS, CRIMINAL JUSTICE, AND LAW
Reporting to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Dean of Business, Criminal Justice, and Law (BCJL), is responsible for the management of the division. The Dean supervises and evaluates faculty and staff and oversees the administration of bargaining agreements and personnel administration regarding faculty within the areas of their responsibility. The Dean is expected to lead the division’s efforts in developing and refining curricula and all areas of assessment including, but not limited to, program and course level assessment scheduling and completion. This position is an integral part of the Academic Affairs’ leadership team and will participate in strategic planning and formulation of policies within academic affairs.
Supervisory Responsibility
Supervisory responsibilities required in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training; planning and assigning projects/tasks; and appraising performance.
Minimum Requirements
• Master’s degree in, or related to, a discipline taught in the division. See the College web site

• 3 years of combined supervisory and administrative experience.
Preferred Requirements
• Doctorate preferred
