The University of Miami Hospital Nursing team has an exciting full-time opportunity for a Master Scheduler. This individual will work three (3) days a week with required alternating weekend coverage.
The individual in this role maintains daily schedule changes in a timely manner. Monitors cancellations of physician clinic schedules and follows up with the assigned scheduling provider. Schedules and reschedules appointments based on the online bump list and in accordance with policies and procedures. Performs quality checks on assigned facility schedules and reports any under-booking or overbooking to management. Prepares runner log for assigned clinic dates. Keeps track of patients during clinic visit and monitors their progress while undergoing testing or in consultation. Communicates any issues to management and actively participates in any corrective activities. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

High School diploma or equivalent
Certification and Licensing:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
- General knowledge of office procedures and operations.
- Skill in data entry with minimal errors.
- Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records, files, reports and correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
- Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
