Under direct supervision of the AV Engineering Services Manager, with indirect reporting to the DoIT Project Management Office (PMO) Director, incumbent coordinates projects with defined scope, complexity, and risk.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions):
Master’s degree in related field and 4 years related experience, or bachelor’s degree in related field and 6 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or related experience.Preferred Qualifications:
•Project Management Professional (PMP)
•Avixa AV Technologist Certificate
•Avixa Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)
•Comprehensive understanding of AV system functionality and installation processes. General understanding of IT terminology and processes. General knowledge of project management principles, terminology, and methodologies. Ability to effectively plan and organize work activities and prioritize task completion according to schedules and goals. Ability to exercise judgment and discretion. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively.
•Reading and understanding assigned project documentation and determine if additional information is required.
