Position Summary:
The Computer Support Coordinator is responsible for a wide range of activities related to organizing individuals and projects involving computer support such as development, implementation, and maintenance of computer systems
This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work independently, on a team, or in a collaboration with others on software development projects in a database environment
- Collect and analyze large data sets to find inconsistencies or data entry errors and work with constituents to correct
- Work with colleagues within the Information and Technology Services department as well as with other departments to create reports to be used to collect data from a fully-integrated administrative computer information system
- Recommends changes or updates in programming, documentation, and training to address system deficiencies and user needs
- Trains other employees in system operation and maintains system instructional manuals
- Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge of computer system hardware and software and computer user requirements
Ability to analyze and modify existing computer systems
Problem solving skills
General Days/Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Additional hours as requested and/or needed
Regular and reliable attendance

Desired Qualifications:
Three (3) years of experience in computer programming and analysis
Experience in Banner ERP System
Experience with SQL
Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of an earned Bachelor's Degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field
Four (4) years of experience in computer support including one year of supervisory experience
OR
Completion of technical training in computer science, data processing, or a related field acquired from a vocational, military, or industrial setting plus seven years experience in computer support including one year of supervisory experience.
Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee
