The Plastic Surgery LPN will perform duties such as: triaging patients, collecting medical history, collecting PFSH, reconciling medications, collecting specimens, preparing/administering injections/vaccinations/infusions/med adjustments within the scope practice/certifications.
Will communicate with patients, providers, and other peers to provide exceptional care to patients and families. Schedule and coordinate tests, procedures, and other medical services as ordered. Verify insurance coverage and communicate with insurance companies concerning prior authorizations and/or referrals.
Maintain medical privacy as applicable to patient health information, services performed, telephone communications, and any other interactions with patients and families.
Register and schedule within the clinic and provide service to patients and their families during their clinic visit. Maintain a clean, safe, and environment.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
The ideal candidate will have the proven ability to work in a team as well as independently and to be assertive and serve as an advocate for the patient. The ability to communicate in a professional and respectful manner with patients and their families, co-workers, and physicians is essential to delivering collaborative care to our patients. It is also necessary to have strong organizational, prioritization, and delegation skills.
