Required Education:HS diploma with some college
Required Related Experience:Microsoft office experience; video conferencing experience (zoom, etc.)
Required License/Registration/Certification:N/A
Physical Requirements:Sitting and use of computer for long periods of time.
Shift:Monday – Friday.
Between 15-20 hours per week
Some work can be completed on the weekends but not mandatory
Data coder/interviewer needed for a temporary, six week project.
With supervision from the PI, the data coder will perform qualitative research tasks including reviewing study interview transcripts, applying a structured coding scheme to study data, analyzing themes, and writing basic summaries of findings.
Assist with conducting literature reviews and qualitative interviews with support. Engage in regular communication and meetings with the PI and other study personnel to discuss analysis. May assist with or perform qualitative interviews after appropriate training from the PI or other study personnel.
: Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods and analysis; Comfort with Microsoft programs including Word and Excel; Knowledge of video conferencing platforms such as Zoom; Ability to work independently; Excellent communication skills. Experience with NVivo and SPSS software is a plus. Content knowledge of pain management and substance use disorder is a plus. Interview experience is a plus.
