Personally responds to rapid response alerts; facilitating appropriate nursing care for urgent/emergent potential and actual clinical deterioration, implementing nursing interventions for optimal patient outcomes. Duties also include development of practice guidelines, data collection and analysis, education and evaluation of patient care during a rapid response or near miss event. The nurse incorporates the psycho-motor and age appropriate cognitive skills of the patient/family/significant other utilizing knowledge of patient assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation. Provides safe and culturally sensitive patient care in accordance with UCI Health standards and policies. The RRT nurse is accountable for addressing the patient/family biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and educational needs. Salary Range:

Required Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadAll external candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in NursingCurrent California RN licenseAbility to read, write and communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to maintain flexibility and work well in a constantly changing environmentMinimum of 5 years recent clinical nursing experience in ICU or EDCCRN or TCRN upon hireMinimum 2 years of recent experience in an acute care hospital setting
