Position Summary:

The Division of Enrollment Management is a key campus thought partner that provides collaborative leadership in university-wide efforts, utilizing systematic, innovative, and synergistic approaches to leverage a data-informed enrollment strategy to improve market distinctiveness, and execute the campus strategic plan. The division comprises the offices of Enrollment Management, Financial Aid & Scholarships, University Registrar, and Undergraduate Admissions. The Office of Enrollment Management aims to align the initiatives and activities of academic units and administrative divisions with campus strategic goals through sustainable enrollment planning. The office engages campus partners in meaningful conversations on enrollment trends and outcomes and uses industry expertise and data-driven analytics to inform direction and decision-making.

Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced higher education professional with a full understanding of enrollment management industry practices and organizational policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. Works on problems of diverse scope where in-depth analysis of complex data requires sophisticated evaluation of identifiable factors and trends that will contribute to data-informed business decisions for academic departments, student support programs, functional managers and executive leaders. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and actively seeks to discover where opportunities for improvements can be made to effectively allocate institutional resources and increase key performance indices.

Compensation Range:

$62,400 - $95,000

5-7 years of related professional experience.

Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training required.

Requires general knowledge in data collection and analysis techniques; statistics or social science research techniques; knowledge of common organization-specific computer application programs; knowledge of organizational principles and procedures involved in handling sensitive data (for example, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, or FERPA). Thorough active listening, critical thinking, good interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task. Strong ability to present information in a clear concise manner verbally and in writing. Understanding of organizational rules and regulations. Able to provide good judgment, decision-making, and problem solving. Time management/organizational skills to assess priorities and meet multiple goals and objectives Demonstrated ability to synthesize relational information in order to formulate campus enrollment strategic priorities, respond to inquiries, measure and track success progress on implemented initiatives and to realize new areas where risk can be managed and goals can be formulated. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive, confidential information and requests. Demonstrated ability to function well in a demanding environment as part of a team. Skill to organize and execute complex tasks in an environment of frequent interruptions and changing workload to meet multiple deadlines.


Master’s degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training preferred.

Demonstrates working knowledge of current trends and best practices related to data analytics and managing enrollment in higher education. Demonstrated experience using MS PowerBI to support research and other assigned analysis projects. Knowledge in statistical modeling and data mining. Has experience with SQL and statistical software packages, such as. Python, R, SPPS, and/or SAS. Has working knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, etc. Has experience in logistic and linear regression, PCA, decision tree analysis and statistical methods.

Special Conditions Required:

Occasional nights and weekends required. Must successfully complete/pass a USDOJ background check.
