Job Summary
The University of Colorado Department of Radiology is seeking a full-time faculty member to join its Abdominal Imaging Section at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor, depending on experience. This is a terrific opportunity to join a highly progressive department and world-class medical institution that is located on a brand new state-of-the-art campus on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. We are open to candidates who would like to primarily work from The University of Colorado Hospital on the Anschutz Medical Campus or from our Highlands Ranch Hospital location. 

Duties

The successful recruit will be required to participate in all aspects of our clinical practice and to excel in one or more of our other primary missions, education, research, and service. Body Imaging of all modality types, including MR, CT, US, and GI/GU imaging is an important component of this position. Participation and collaboration through interdisciplinary conferences is ongoing. Active participation in fellow, resident and medical student education is expected.

Salary and Benefits: 

The salary range for this position has been established at: 

Assistant Professor Salary Range: $300,000 - $350,000.

Associate Professor Salary Range: $300,000 - $350,000.

Professor Salary Range: $300,000 - $350,000.

Salary is based only on years of experience post-fellowship. An applicant with three years of experience is paid the same at Assistant, Associate, and Professor Ranks. The ranks listed are academic ranks and would be applied based on scholarly work throughout career. 

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Qualification requirements are the same across the Assistant, Associate, and Professor Levels.

Minimum Qualifications

    Medical Degree or equivalentAbility to obtain a Colorado Medical LicenseABR Certification or eligibleFellowship Training completed by time of hire.
Required Competencies

    Competency is required in the performance of abdominal imaging.
Preferred Qualifications

    The individual would have a proven interest in clinical research
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
