Summary of Duties:
Under general supervision, assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of in-person and/or virtual events and activities. Perform general clerical duties in support of HR administrative functions. Plan, organize and prioritize work, compile reports, prepare mailings, create labels, and develop, modify, and/or maintain database systems and websites.
Position requires frequent contact with clients, the public, and university staff, faculty and students. Exercise extreme confidentiality in all aspects of duties.
This is a project position and is expected to end on June 30, 2022. Renewal is dependent on the need for extension to complete the project.
Required Qualifications:
High school graduation or equivalent and two years of fulltime clerical experience OR equivalent education/experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years experience coordinating and/or planning events.
Demonstrated experience in marketing or promotions.
Demonstrated experience creating complex spreadsheets, and databases using Excel.
Demonstrated experience creating brochures, fliers, mailing labels, advertising and other public relations materials.
