Summary of Duties:
This position is responsible for providing technology support within Facilities and Operations. This position will provide for the efficient operation of the computing and information systems for the departments served by Facilities and Operations.
Required Qualifications:
Two (2) years of experience in information technology related activities such as testing, installing, maintaining, supporting, and/or averting hardware/software system failures on client applications, hardware and software products, mainframe systems, network infrastructure equipment, or telecommunications software or hardware OR equivalent education/experience.
Experience managing Windows desktops working in an Enterprise Active Directory environment.
Extensive customer service experience in a corporate, education or retail environment.
Experience managing day-to-day tasks without constant supervision.
Have, or be able to obtain at time of hire, a valid driver’s license.
Ability to work evenings and weekends on occasion and to travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in responding to network security incidents.
Experience in Website maintenance and development.
Experience with Java programming.
Experience using SQL query tools.
Experience working with assistive technologies for impaired users.
Experience with database technologies (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
