Position Details

The Department of Psychology in the College of Arts & Sciences is seeking a part-time (20 hours/week) Research Associate 1 to join Dr. Amanda Jensen-Doss’s CIELO Lab. The CIELO lab examines mental health care for children and adolescents and the use of evidence-based practices. The Research Associate will provide support for The PACE study, a project that compares two approaches to measurement-based care in youth-serving community mental health clinics.

The Research Associate will help establish study procedures, provide support with research compliance paperwork, monitor participant enrollment, and provide other research support. Excellent English/Spanish skills (both verbal and written) are preferred to serve the research population. Candidates with work experience related to clinical psychology research or research involving adolescents will be preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Public Health or other related field

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Core Responsibilities:

  • Understands and interprets research protocols and procedures.

  • Potentially may participate in the publication of significant results.

  • Maintains an overview of relevant research findings.

  • Ensures all research is undertaken according to good research practice.

  • Keeps abreast of current publications relative to methods, techniques, and developments within the area of research.

  • Performs calculations to complete research test results, collects data, and performs data management and quality control of data.

  • Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
