  • Position Description:

    The laboratory of Vascular Biology is recruiting a postdoctoralfellow to conduct research in interdisciplinary areas of Molecular Medicinebroadly related to the impact of the immune system on cardiovascular and renaldiseases. This postdoctoral fellow will be mentored by Dr. Camilla FerreiraWenceslau and will collaborate with Faculty members within the Center forHypertension and Personalized Medicine. This candidate will have opportunities to applyfor AHA and NIH grants.

    Qualifications:

    Education/experience/licensing:

    · Ph.D. required in areas related to physiology and/or pharmacology relevant to whole-animal or human physiological systems.

    · 4-5 years of experience in vascular physiology using wire and/or pressure myograph required.

    Communication and other skills:

    · Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with other laboratory workers. 

    ·   Must be motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
