  • Position Description:

    The Assistant Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the recruiting process within the University of Toledo Football program. This position will take a lead role in campus visit planning, assist in marketing and promoting the philosophy and objectives of the football program, and assist with assessing student athlete academic status. This position is also responsible for assisting with the management of various programs for current and prospective football student athletes.

    The Assistant Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for adhering to compliance, policies and procedures of the Athletic Department, University of Toledo, NCAA and MAC.

    Qualifications:

    Education/experience/licensing:

      Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferredDivision I college coaching experience preferredMust be highly recommended by references
    Communication and other skills:

      Must be a proven, successful recruiterAbility to effectively communicate and counsel student-athletes on requirements for personal conduct, academic performance and athletic performance.Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrate professional conduct and ethical behavior.Ability to comply with all policies and regulations of the University, MAC and NCAA.

    Working Conditions:Works independently and collaboratively in an academic, professional environment with deadlines and consistently high volumes of work; requiring positive interactions, attention to detail and correctness and with possible high stress levels; and serving multiple populations: students, faculty, parents, staff, community members, prospective students, university administrators, etc. Some evening and/or weekend work will be required such as new student orientation programs.
