Student Account Representative-Core Program - Student Account Services

Position Summary:

The purpose of this position is to process billing, provide customer service, and manage balances for core programs.

Reporting Relationships:

Billing Supervisor

Education Requirements:

Associate’s degree or the work equivalent.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Process and/or review all billing.
    Use appropriate followup methods and communications for past due balances.
    Routine audits of student accounts to assure accuracy.
    Submit student refunds in accordance with compliance requirements.
    Provide timely customer service to students and university departments via phone and email.

Qualifications:

According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.

    Bookkeeping experience preferred.
    Ability to work accurately with attention to detail and numbers.
    Analytical thinking skills.
    Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
    Excellent interpersonal skills relating effectively with staff, students, and other departments.
