Position Highlights:

The Lab Assistant will support the Granzier Lab with ordering of research equipment, supplies and laboratory services and providing administrative and logistical support when needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ordering equipment, supplies, and laboratory services.
  • Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers for returns and repair of equipment.
  • Maintaining stock supplies (liquid nitrogen, dry ice, etc).
  • Shipping and receiving of samples and other materials.
  • Scheduling of work areas and keeping them clean and organized.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience.
  • Prior work experience not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

*Experience providing logistical support in a biomedical research lab
