Primary responsibility is to serve as additional support for the administrative assistants in a professional office environment
Duties include: answering phones; greeting and directing visitors; making copies, shredding and faxing, light typing, running errands; assisting with large mailings; and some computer work
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to maintain a professional and pleasant demeanor; proficiency in the use of a multi-line phone desired; strong customer service ethic, basic computer skills with an understanding of commonly used Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
The position is a high profile service point for Student Life serving the needs of students, parents and faculty/staff. It requires careful attention to detail and strict confidentiality.
