Job Description Summary
The Biostatistician will independently provide health services research analyses, survival analyses, risk prediction outcomes analyses for the faculty in the Section of Breast Surgery, EOS, Department of Surgery. Day to day tasks include data cleaning, data manipulation, survey data scoring, write-ups of analyses and production of tables and graphs for manuscripts and proposals. This individual will use analytic software including SAS, STATA, and/or R programming skills to create analytical datasets construct and standardize analytical variables, provide and regularly update study reports, provide descriptive and analytical reports, and perform exploratory and specialized statistical analyses and statistical modeling. The Biostatistician should have experience with basic and advanced analyses, including regression, survival analysis, hierarchical models, causal inference and mediator analyses, machine learning, meta-analysis, and multiple imputation. Prior experience in biomedical and/or epidemiologic research is required. Will work with faculty investigators to develop clinical and experimental study designs and analysis plans for sponsored program research funded by NIH, DOD, breast cancer specific societies and foundations.

Position is contingent upon funding.

Master's Degree and minimum of 3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
