High school graduate or equivalent.
Preferred: Journeyman level schooling.
Able to work independently of close supervision; journeyman level experience
in the plumbing field.
Knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, tools and equipment of the plumbing trade.Primary Responsibilities:
Skilled work in the installation, modification and repair of University plumbing and related systems, equipment and fixtures.
Assists Plumber with plans, lay outs, and participates in and supervise plumbing work on job sites and in the shop. Must practice proper safety procedures, use personal protective devices and attend frequent safety and job training sessions. Other duties as assigned.
Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.
University wide. Position is Security Sensitive. After hours and weekend on-call availability required.
Other: Current driver’s license and driving record acceptable to the University must be maintained as a condition of employment.
Any qualifications to be considered in lieu of stated minimums require the prior approval of the Human Resources Director.Other Information:
