Job Description Summary
We are seeking a Research Coordinator (RC) to conduct Spanish-speaking participant recruitment, retention and screening activities, including informed consent and follow-up at community partnership sites. The RC will be a collaborative member of the team and will serve under the direction of the Principal Investigator and Project Manager. The RC will help to ensure the completion of the project timelines for both recruitment and data collection. They will conduct data collection and data entry on study questionnaires, and measures of blood pressure, heart rate, cognitive health and sleep health assessments. The RC will be responsible for participating in weekly team meetings and responsible/ethical conduct of research and compliance in keeping with study protocols.

  • Participate in reporting and dissemination activities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The ideal candidate is Spanish-speaking/bilingual fluency with strong oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills, past experience of human subjects research, is able to adhere strictly to the study protocol; is savvy in computer skills and able to handle technology, is willing to make home visits for data collection, an interest in clinical research serving the adult population, and an understanding of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) practices to protect human subjects research.
