Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Federal Work Study Student Assistant in the Postal Services department on the Dahlonega campus. Our office sorts hundreds of pieces of mail each day, and we mail out thousands. We help many customers at the window, and our student employees help us get all of it done. Student Assistants help with a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Help at the customer service desk and follow protocol to determine correct postage amounts, including helping to determine the optimal price and class of mail for the customer's needs.
  • Aid in the sorting and organization of mail and help with the projects that are done each semester to keep processes up to date and our data accurate.
Required Qualifications

Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
