Job Description Summary / TWC Summary:

Under general supervision coordinates program/project activities.

Essential Duties Summary:

•SOC Course Scheduler A) works with four department chairs in scheduling classes. B) Processes entries into banner, and make amendments as needed. C) Prepares enrollment reports and communicate results to the dean, chairs, faculty and student services.
•Assists Assessment and Curriculum Committee Input assessment data for the SOC in the designated templates/systems.
•SOC Strategic Plan— Retrieve and input data from Argos and IAPE and assists deans and chairs entering data into the university Strategic Plan template and uploading to SharePoint. (Works with the Dean, Assistant Dean, and Department Chairs).
•Attends leadership, faculty and staff meetings as needed and transcribe minutes.
•Uses school and University policies, practices, and procedures to handle a variety of questions and challenges from faculty and students.
•Prepares faculty workload reports.
•Processes textbook orders and request instructor desk copies.
•Administers faculty Evaluations and submit them to the Testing Center.
•Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Hiring Range:

$41,976.00 - $52,470.00


Some college or Associate’s degree and/or vocational or technical school and/or specialized training or certification.

Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Required Licensing/Certification:

Valid Texas Driver’s License preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of:
•Policies, procedures, and practices.
•Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications.

Skill in:
•Problem-solving and decision-making.
•Both verbal and written communication.

Ability to:
•Prepare detailed reports.
•Communicate effectively.

Work Experience:

One (1) to three (3) years of experience.

Working/Environmental Conditions:

Limited standing and/or walking.
Handling light weight objects.
Using or carrying equipment.
Stoop, bend or lift.
