Greet visitors to the office, giving directions, answering questions, providing informational materials, patient forms, etc.

Advise visitors of approximate duration of their wait and see that they are made comfortable.

Answer telephone inquiries and transfer calls.

Prepare and/or maintain patient records/charts, general information materials, etc. Scan and file patient documents.

Data entry for monthly billing.

Scheduling patients.

Sort and distribute mail, prepare and send out appointment letters, route out-going mail, and operate one or more copying and/or duplicating machines.

Maintain the general appearance of the waiting room or reception area, watering plants and straightening magazines, chairs and other light furniture.

Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of experience from which comparable skills and knowledge can be acquired. Knowlege, Skills & Abilities

The successful candidate should have strong written and oral communication skills, have a good business telephone manner, and be able to establish and maintain effective professional relations with clients, co-workers and other agencies. This position requires a mature, flexible individual who can project a positive image of CBH and work as a member of our administrative team. Good computer skills are essential. The successful applicant should be very detail oriented, organized, outgoing and comfortable working with the public. A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be required is necessary. Two years progressively responsible office experience is preferred. Education or training beyond high school may be substituted for experience.
