Job Responsibilities

The candidate will be required to teach LPN nursing students at the Dillon campus location and have the willingness to work within a flexible teaching schedule (i.e. day, evening) and in distance learning formats. This person will be responsible to the Director of Nursing/Dean of Allied Health for clinical teaching of fundamentals of nursing, geriatric, mental health, medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics and/or obstetrical nursing. A major requirement is to give quality supervision and instruction in the clinical setting.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and active license as a registered nurse in South Carolina or another compact state. Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience as a registered or advance practice nurse related to field of primary responsibility. Teaching experience preferred.
