Group Exercise Instructor for Fall 2021


Recreational Sports Office

Job Description/Duties:

Candidate must be qualified to instruct 1-2 Group Exercise classes per week and be willing to fill in as a sub for other instructors as your schedule allows. Must be prepared for the possibility of teaching remotely. Candidate must be physically fit and able to confidently lead classes and offer modifications for various fitness levels and abilities. The ability to motivate and encourage others is a plus. Candidate will be required to occasionally attend meetings/workshops which will take place in the evening and possibly on weekends

Days/Hours Needed:

30-60 minute classes, usually early morning, during the noon hour or afternoon/evenings

Required Qualifications:

Group Exercise Certification
Adult CPR/AED Certification
Experience teaching Group Exercise classes
Must be willing to teach remotely

Preferred Qualifications:

Upbeat personality and ability to motivate others. Willingness and ability to teach remote classes if necessary.

Physical Demands:

Ability to teach 30-60 minute classes
