The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally standing, walking with, and/or lifting objects up to 25lbs; driving motor pool vehicle, regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; standing for greater than 5 hours at a time; walking several miles per day; and performing repetitive motions (such as typing).Shift:
The shift for this position is day shift, 9-5pm Monday- Friday, with some Holiday requirements. Hours and days of the week subject to change on the needs and growth of the department.Job Summary:
Assists the pharmacy central distribution center staff in the transportation and distribution of medications and supplies across the UKHC enterprise. Works closely with the pharmacy supply chain staff to meet the needs of the department including, but not limited to, assisting with procurement and movement of supplies, preventative maintenance of equipment, and routine cleaning of equipment. Requires excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as effective communication skills to patients and healthcare staff. Must be able to safely and effectively drive a University of Kentucky vehicle for courier services to both on-site and off-site locations.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
