Varies-primarily day shift.Job Summary:
This position has direct oversight for Computed Tomography (CT) operations on the Chandler Hospital campus.
The position requires clinical expertise in CT imaging practices. This knowledge is critical to ensuring that department operations meet or exceed UK HealthCare standards for image production, equipment maintenance and technical operation, regulatory compliance, patient experience, quality improvement initiatives, and best practices which foster a safe, high quality, patient care environment.
The Radiology manager is responsible for 24/7 operational issues within their assigned area(s).
This position is accountable for outcomes related to quality, safe, and efficient patient care. The Radiology manager provides direct clinical and managerial leadership for personnel within their assigned work unit(s). In addition, this position provides leadership support as needed for all other Radiology personnel. This position is accountable for patient satisfaction and staff engagement. The Radiology manager serves as the facilitator regarding all matters for their unit(s) both inter and intra departmentally. This position ensures compliance with clinical protocols, accreditation, regulatory and reimbursement agency requirements. This position will support and contribute to meeting goals set forth by unit, department, and UK HealthCare.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
