This position will require you to sit and/or stand at a workstation for extended periods; lift and/or carry light-weight objects.Shift:
8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday.Job Summary:
The person in this position will assist dental care providers by using four-handed chair side dental assisting, expanded duties and surgical dental assisting, as well as assisting with oral, IV and other sedation.
The successful candidate will also take radiographs, assist during medical emergencies, monitor patient vitals, clean rooms, schedule patients, and other assisting and clinical duties.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
Expanded duties dentistry, basic life support (BLS), communication, organization, planning, dependability, attention to detail, and customer service.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :
Three to four years’ experience in four-handed dentistry and surgical dental assisting, two years’ experience as an expanded duties dental assistant, radiation safety certificate, knowledge of proper infection control techniques in dentistry, Anesthesia certification, and radiation safety certificate preferred.
Anesthesia certification, certified BLS instructor, radiation safety certificate preferred.Deadline to Apply:
