Job Details
Job responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
•Works closely with the faculty and staff at the School of Medicine and at the Center for Learning and Innovation to plan and implement the delivery and evaluation of the clinical skills program and its related activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization
•Organizes and maintains program documentation and prepares and forecasts program schedules for students and faculty members
•Coordinates logistics for sessions related to the physical diagnosis and clinical skills curriculum; sessions involving the use of standardized patients, formative review sessions, formative and summative clinical skills assessment sessions and reassessments
•Provides administrative support necessary to enable faculty members to be successful educators, including scheduling, supporting faculty planning meetings, using educational technology, preparing for clinical testing sessions, and grading
•Tracks, organizes, and shares all clinical skills-related educational and assessment materials with students and faculty members as requested
•Assists in developing and executing trainings for staff on troubleshooting and maintaining all testing software and proctoring of exams
•Organizes and coordinates logistics for the Clinical Learning Integration Forum, including all meeting materials/agendas, notetaking and any other related activities
•Assists with the preparation of program evaluation surveys, review and digest program evaluation data, and make recommendations to improve the success of the program
•Assists faculty members with clinical skills-related educational research projects
Qualifications:•Bachelor’s degree required.
•Strong attention to detail and above-average organizational skills required.
•Exceptional customer-service skills.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•Ability to work independently and must possess a high degree of judgement, discretion, and confidentiality.
•Extensive computing experience and demonstrate proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
•Must be able to provide own transportation to and from off-site meetings.
Early morning, evening, and weekend work may be required during busy periods.
