Minimum Qualifications:Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated experience with supporting research activity on a large-scale research project. Experience with Microsoft Suite with an emphasis on Excel necessary. Demonstrated organizational skills with keen attention to detail strongly preferred.
Position Summary:This position will be responsible for daily tasks associated with implementation of multiple research projects underway at the Center for Family Research. Under the supervision of one of the P50 Project Coordinators, responsibilities will include: (1) Conducting off hours fMRIs on study participants, (2) Coordinating with BIRC manager to coordinate logistics of MRI usage, (3) Overseeing non-scanner neuroassessments, (4) Conducting recruitment, retention, scheduling and screening activities as needed. The position involves strong technical and organizational skills to support day-to-day running of large, complex research projects.

Duties/Responsibilities:Conduct fMRIs according to study protocols (may be 100% of effort during peak data collection periods).

Duties/Responsibilities:Support recruitment and retention activities; Communicate with potential participants – conduct mailings, phone calls, to provide additional study information; Schedule participants for research appointments; Send out retention letters and texts.

Duties/Responsibilities:Prepare biomarker data for transport to external labs: (1) Prepare shipping logs, (2) Enter data into spreadsheets shared with partner lab, (3) Pack blood samples, (4) Take to UPS.
