Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Billing Manager, the employee is responsible for supervising the daily functions and operations of the designated billing Units. Keeps track of billing/collections flow adversities and takes appropriate action to address such issues and provides trends to management. Oversees overall workflow of billing unit(s); assures that tasks are accurately performed in a timely manner aimed at meeting targeted deadlines and goals. Trouble shoots problems and issues of daily correspondence; missing or delayed requests researches and provides resolutions. Creates, tracks and maintains productivity and attendance logs for unit.
Compensation Range:
Monthly $4,641.67- $7,083.33

Required:
2 to 5 years Supervisory Experience.
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Ability to supervise, schedule, and coordinate daily activities of subordinate staff and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Solid knowledge of medical and insurance terminology, billing and / or collections internal procedures and external regulations. Working knowledge of human resources management policies, with the ability to evaluate and document human resources matters and performance. Solid leadership skills to coach and improve staff performance. Ability to provide thorough and accurate review of complex subordinate work and to oversee coordination of ongoing tasks and projects over extended periods of time.
Preferred:
Solid skills in quality customer service. Interpersonal skills to manage conflict and collaborate effectively with all constituent groups, including patients, physician offices, third-party payors, attorneys, outside agencies, and clinical and administrative personnel across departments. Skilled in written and verbal communications, with the ability to effectively motivate others, to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner, and to prepare and present a variety of reports and analyses. Computer proficiency in all relevant software, hardware, and systems, including scheduling / calendaring programs to effectively set and communicate work schedules.
