Location
Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Department Information
The Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice has 30 full-time faculty, over 20 part-time faculty, and over 1,000 majors. The department offers Bachelor's degrees in Sociology and Criminal Justice, an accelerated Bachelor's/Master's degree in Criminal Justice, and a Master's degree in Criminal Justice. The department also offers minors in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Gerontology, Medical Sociology, and Sociology. Responsibilities
Kennesaw State University is currently accepting applications for the part-time faculty of Criminal Justice pool in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice. The ability to effectively teach college-level Criminal Justice courses and a commitment to providing excellence in education is a must. The aptitude to present course teachings in such a way that students are encouraged to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills will be a primary goal for the position. Qualified out-of-state applicants are encouraged to apply.

This position is on an as needed, per semester basis to teach traditional and non-traditional students. Classes may be online and/or face-to-face during weekdays or nights, as needed by the department.

Required Qualifications
Minimum required qualifications include a MS or MA in Criminal Justice or related field (with 18 hours of relevant criminal justice graduate credits), a JD, or the foreign equivalent. In addition, either extensive experience working in the field or previous university teaching experience is required.
