Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Department Information
The Department of Exercise Science and Sport Management is a dynamic unit offering undergraduate sports science degrees in Exercise Science and Sport Management with pre-professional preparation options as well as a minor in Nutritional Science and graduate degrees in Applied Exercise and Health Science and Prosthetics & Orthotics. Exercise Science is among the most popular majors on campus, with a current enrollment of 975 students.
Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track Lecturer of Exercise Science faculty position beginning August 2021.
Responsibilities
- Area of specialization: Exercise Science Teaching both online and face-to-face lecture and laboratory classes at the undergraduate level Some department, college, university, and professional service is expected
Required Qualifications
- An earned Master's or higher degree in exercise science or related area, or the foreign equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- American Heart Association Instructor Certification American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist Record of past teaching at the undergraduate level Evidence of teaching and working with a culturally and an ethnically diverse community Experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses
