The WellStar School of Nursing at Kennesaw State University is creating a pool of applicants in anticipation of future openings for part-time faculty to teach clinical courses related to nursing.
Responsibilities include clinical supervision and evaluation of nursing students in fundamentals, adult health, pediatric and obstetric health, mental health, and community health settings. Review of applicants is ongoing. This position is renewable. Part-time clinical faculty are used as needed on a semester by semester basis.
Master's degree in nursing or its foreign equivalent is required. Earned doctorate in nursing or related field required for professorial ranks, or its foreign equivalent. Current clinical expertise in specialty area required. Part time faculty may not work for other University System Schools of Nursing while employed by Kennesaw State.
