Project ManagerTNPRC - Microbiology

Location: Covington, LA

Summary

The Project Manager (PM) will oversee research for all of the Principal Investigator's (PI) current projects. The Project Manager will ensure each research project meets all goals and objectives. This position also coordinates with administrative support to ensure projects remain fiscally healthy. This position will coordinate with intramural and extramural project collaborators, veterinarians, scientific core laboratories, biosafety office, and associated administrative and laboratory staff. The Project Manager will attend all relevant meetings/calls and provide written reports to the Principal Investigator.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in biomedical sciences (such as microbiology, immunology or a related biological science)
• Three (3) years of project management experience, preferably within a biomedical research laboratory

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in biomedical sciences (such as microbiology, immunology or a related biological science)
• Six (6) years of project management experience, preferably within a biomedical research laboratory
