Job Details
The Department of Executive Education at Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver is looking to hire adjunct instructors for Spring 2021 through the 2021-2022 academic year to teach a variety of executive education graduate courses and custom client engagements. Topics revolve around data analytics, finance, communication, DEI and a variety of other management and leadership topics. This posting will serve for multiple openings.
Adjunct faculty positions are non-benefited positions. More information about the courses can be found on the Registrars Office schedule of classes at https://www.du.edu/registrar/course/scheduleofclasses.html.
Essential Functions
Adjunct faculty are required to attend development meetings, develop all course content, develop assignments for credit classes, and post grades. Adjunct faculty will work closely with Executive Education staff on agendas and course slides. Adjunct faculty are required to attend client meetings and interact with participants during the course of the engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree.
- Previous teaching experience.
- Ability to teach at the university level.
Preferred Qualifications
- College-level teaching experience.
- Relevant industry experience in field being taught.

Course Rate
Adjunct faculty are compensated based on program type. Custom Client Programs are compensated at $150/contact hour if co-taught or $300/contact hour if taught alone. Government and Non-Profit Client Programs are compensated at $112.50/contact hour if co-taught or $225/contact hour if taught alone. Public Workshops are compensated at $250/contact hour.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
