Shindig is also the only tech than enables a video chat classroom where instructors can go seamlessly from addressing the entire class to circulating around the class to give individualized or small group instruction and back again.

Shindig is looking for a sales leader to help us pioneer the adoption of the Shindig large scale participatory video chat platform for higher education. This person will be responsible for driving awareness and demand for Shindig within various education sectors including universities, government, independent educational organizations and associations, and other entities. We are looking for someone who can develop relationships and create partnerships with educators, institutions and thought leaders around the world.

Our ideal candidate is someone who has extensive knowledge of education technologies as well as emerging trends within the field. They should have experience developing strategic relationships and building consensus with educators, administrators, and institutions and be familiar with pitching and selling to both non-profit and for-profit organizations. The position requires someone who can quickly master our technology’s major selling points, has the credibility and persuasive powers to move both large and small organizations, and has an established network of educational influencers to ignite buzz and curiosity within the industry. Experience with modern sales tools, CRMs and automated marketing is essential.

Role responsibilities:

- Captain strategy for maximizing Shindig penetration within higher education

- Initiate outreach efforts to institutions for use of platform for online classes as well as student, career, alumni and admissions services

- Structure business deals with institutions, respond to RFP’s, develop and refine competitive pricing strategy

- Develop marketing and training materials with selected educators

- Develop high-profile educational events to brand and market the platform
