JOB SUMMARY:The Department of Marketing and Management in the School of Business at Middle Georgia State University invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor in supply chain and logistics management to start fall semester 2021.

MAJOR DUTIES:The successful candidate is expected to teach on-campus and online undergraduate and graduate courses in supply chain and logistics management including: supply chain and logistics management strategy, warehousing and distribution, continuous process improvement, purchasing and materials management, transportation management, operations management and other business courses as needed. The successful candidate is expected to have a strong commitment to outstanding teaching, research, advising students, and service to the profession and university. This is a 10 month position with summer teaching available depending on demand. Teaching responsibilities may include day and/or evening, lower level and/ or upper level business courses. Travel to satellite campuses (Cochran and Warner Robins) may sometimes be required.

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a doctorate degree. Experience in the private or public sector in supply chain and logistics management is preferred. Prior teaching experience in supply chain management on-campus and online is preferred.
