Typical Work Schedule:Times of classes are Tuesday and Thursday. At Highland Park elementary, 9:00-9:50 and at Henry A Coffeen elementary from 11:00 -11:50. Time available to clean materials would be each Tuesday and Thursday, at Highland anytime between 10:30-3:00 or Coffeen anytime between 12:30 -3:00.

Job Summary:Kindlers provides a preschool experience for children birth -5 years old at Highland Park Elementary and Henry A Coffeen Elementary twice per week to provide kindergarten readiness activities
Reports To:Bobbi Mitzel
Education/Qualifications:•Good Conduct and Academic Standing with the college
•Sheridan College Student currently enrolled
•Cumulative GPA is 2.0 or greater
This internship would enhance an education student’s education with participation in the class times with preschool students and their adult and with observation of an experienced kindergarten teacher. A non-education student would also benefit from the discipline of completing a job on their own time – scheduling the work around their schedule. Their involvement in the community is also an asset for both the student and our program, providing efficiency for our staff in their work.
