The Department of Neurology at the University of Virginia seeks applicants for tenure-eligible Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Neurology with specialty training in pediatric neuromuscular disorders. The Child Neurology Division has a long tradition of superior clinical care, education, and research.
The incumbent will join a multidisciplinary team that cares for children and adolescents with neuromuscular disorders as well as participating in the outpatient and inpatient care of other pediatric neurological diseases. In addition, research and educational (medical graduate and undergraduate levels) opportunities are available.
Qualified applicants must have a MD, be board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology with special qualifications in Child Neurology and have successfully completed post-residency training in pediatric neuromuscular disorders.
