Description:
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the tenure track. Expertise is required in the specific area of general cardiology and echocardiography. Applicants must have an M.D. degree or equivalent.
Teaching responsibilities may include lectures, bedside teaching, and research mentorship to junior faculty, fellows and residents. Additional teaching responsibilities for medical students, graduate students, and post-doctoral students.
Clinical responsibilities may include outpatient clinics for general cardiology and echocardiography laboratory at the Main Hospital and satellite locations.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include focusing on the improvement analysis and statistical methods for optical neuroimaging. Research will include collaboration with other physicians and scientists at CHOP and the University of Pennsylvania.
