Description:

University of Florida College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry is currently recruiting for an Assistant/Associate/Professor, part-time 0.80 FTE, non-tenured faculty position. This position will be located at our University of Florida Center for Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine satellite facility in Vero Beach, FL. Candidate will be responsible for providing outpatient treatment and developing treatment protocols. This position will serve a critical role in the clinical, teaching, and scholarly life of the Department and the College of Medicine. Candidate will be involved with teaching, mentoring, and training. The candidate is expected to participate in after-hours telephone on-call schedule.  


Qualifications:

Applicant must be Board Certified and/or Board Eligible M.D. in Psychiatry and must have or able to obtain a state of Florida Medical License. Experience in Addiction Medicine, Child and Adolescent Therapy, or Cognitive Behavior Therapy is desirable.

Physical Demands

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require walking some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
