Job Description Summary

Summary: In collaboration with the EMR team helps to develop, implement, evaluate, and evolve strategies, tactics, and processes for enrollment management for our graduate master’s degree programs. The primary areas of responsibility for the position are to help lead the recruitment efforts for, and support the planning and execution of, all recruitment initiatives for our pre-experience graduate programs including MSA, MSBA, and MSM.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for implementing recruitment strategies and initiatives to attract and yield a high-quality diverse class of students for our graduate master’s programs.
  • Researches potential target markets, pipelines, and organizations to create effective recruitment campaigns.
  • Cultivates relationships with national and global campus partners to drive in-person and virtual campus engagements.
  • Identifies and help to build relationships with key influencers at our key feeder & partner schools.
  • Targets and recruits prospective students at schools and other relevant organizations whose profiles align with Wake Forest’s enrollment requirements and talent profiles sought by hiring organizations.
  • Leverages organizations and conferences that provide good networks for recruiting efforts.
  • Effectively utilizes data to evaluate and evolve recruitment strategies and initiatives.
  • Effectively use data to predict, prescript, and forecast enrollment pipeline challenges and opportunities.
  • Collaborates with the Enrollment Management Marketing team to develop on & off-line collateral and promotional materials to support recruiting efforts.
  • Collaborates with the Enrollment Management Operations team on

the admissions process, financial aid requirements, and scholarship opportunities.

  • As part of the Enrollment Management Admissions Committee, key role in application review, in-person and on-line interviews, scholarship recommendations, and admission decisions.
  • In collaboration with program faculty and staff, implements processes, events and other enrollment management related experiences that align with the School’s strategic vision.
  • Direct management responsibility of an assistant recruiter in full Enrollment Management life cycle and responsibilities for their professional development and continued knowledge growth and development.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of three years of related work experience. Experience in graduate business higher-ed admissions is strongly preferred. Background and experience in sales and/or recruiting is required.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and foster relationships with a wide range of people and a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  • Experience with and sensitivity to diverse populations, inside and outside the USA.
  • Ability and willingness to travel and work a varied schedule with flexible hours.
  • Ability to work on some weekends and evenings for events.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively identify and solve problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and implement projects independently.
  • Skilled in effective oral & written communication and public presentations.
  • Depth and knowledge of data analysis and ability to garner insights and develop actionable solutions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and CRM systems, preferably Slate (Admissions CRM).
  • Ability to represent the School of Business and the University in a professional manner.
  • Be a willing and enthusiastic member of a dynamic team and be flexible with work assignments as needs arise.
  • Maintain a positive attitude that will promote a positive climate within the EM Team, School and University.
