Purpose:Responsible for instructing student-athletes in the rules and fundamentals of men’s lacrosse; and providing input and assistance to the head coach in determining fundamental philosophy, skills, and techniques.Duties:
- Design instruction for individual student-athletes and specific team needs
- Instruct student-athletes in the rules and fundamentals of men’s lacrosse events as assigned by the Head Coach
- Provide input and assist the head coach in determining fundamental philosophy, skills, and techniques
- Provide instruction related to physical health, team concepts, and safety
- Assist the Head Coach in the recruitment of student-athletes
- Maintain current knowledge and abides by NCAA rules, policies, procedures
- Demonstrates integrity and upholds the values and mission of the University.
- Other duties as assigned.

Supervision Exercised:Student EmployeesSupervision Received:Head Lacrosse CoachQualifications Education:Bachelors preferredExperience:1 year university coaching preferred.A demonstrated ability and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.Specialized Training:Proficient in the use of Coaching techniques, computer, camcorder, copier, weight training equipment, and First Aid and CPR.
